Glenn Strauss f5f221eda8 [core] dispatch events from within event framework 
event framework now calls interface to dispatch events rather than
itself implementing multiple interfaces for fdevent_process() to
be able to dispatch events generically.

Stefan Bühler 2ab8287e32 Fix FD_SETSIZE comparision warnings on FreeBSD 
* And again, FreeBSD sucks... it defines FD_SETSIZE as an unsigned integer,
  while every fd is signed.
  This obviously breaks thinks like assert(fd < FD_SETSIZE);
